Our Story
Eternal Events is a family-owned, Arizona-based business with one mission:
To help families that have lost a loved one with planning beautiful and meaningful Celebrations of Life throughout the greater Phoenix area.
Our Founder, Shannon, brings over 15 years of professional event planning experience to our family business and knows firsthand all that goes into curating a beautiful Celebration of Life. Before founding Eternal Events, she spent her career planning and managing events at many of Arizona's most respected hotels. From intimate gatherings to large-scale productions, her background in hospitality and event management built the expertise needed to create seamless, meaningful experiences.
But the inspiration behind Eternal Events came from our own family's personal loss.
In 2020, Shannon's sister, Kimberly, was tragically killed in a car accident. As our family struggled to process the unimaginable loss, Shannon became responsible for planning Kimberly's Celebration of Life. Even with years of professional event experience, coordinating vendors, floral, celebrants, and making endless decisions to ensure every detail honored Kimberly, felt completely overwhelming while grieving.
That experience changed everything.
It showed our family that there was a need for compassionate event professionals who could step in during life's hardest moments—not just to organize any event, but to lift a burden from grieving families.
Eternal Events was created so families don't have to carry that weight alone. With thoughtful guidance and a calm experienced approach, we help you to simplify the planning process, present clear options, and bring every detail together in a seamless way that is personal to your loved one and deeply meaningful.
Today, every Celebration of Life we plan is guided by both professional expertise and heartfelt empathy. We know firsthand how important it is to create a gathering that reflects a loved one's life while giving family and friends the chance to gather, tell stories, and start to heal.
